Marion Raymond Huggins Jr., age 84 of Manvel, Texas, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2025. Marion was born September 25, 1940 in El Dorado, Arkansas. He was a resident of Manvel for 40 years. Marion is preceded in death by his parents Corean and Marion Raymond Huggins Sr.

Marion is survived by his wife Sarah F. Huggins; sons Raymond Todd Huggins and wife Cheryl, and Paul Marc Huggins and wife Barbi; brother Donald R. Huggins; grandchildren Aleicia DeCosmo and husband Gary, Ashlei Huggins, Kristen Gary and husband Austin; great-grandchildren Gavin DeCosmo, Nina DeCosmo, Makaylei Huggins and partner Mateo, Kendal Pendergrast, Parker Gary, and Logan Gary.

He was raised in the Parkers Chapel community and graduated from Parkers Chapel High School. He moved his family to Alvin, Tx in 1969. He worked for Monsanto Chemical Co. for 30 years, retiring in 1998. He worked an additional seven years at Whitco Chem. Marion also served his country in the Army National Guard for 13 years. He loved the outdoors, fishing and camping with his wife and family. He also loved the sport of basketball. He was dearly loved and will be truly missed.

A visitation will be held Friday, September 5, 2025, from 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM, with a funeral service beginning at 10:30 AM. Interment to take place at Confederate Cemetery following the services.
