Maricella Ramona Davila, age 18 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2026 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Pearland, Texas. Maricella was born April 4, 2008 in Beeville, Texas and was a lifetime resident of Alvin. She was a 2026 graduate of Alvin High School and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Maricella is survived by her parents, Gilbert and Esmeralda Bentura; sisters, Veronica Bentura, Ashely Bentura, Tiffany Bentura and Catalina Ventura; brothers, Gilbert Bentura Jr., Garbiel Bentura, Tomas Ventura and Adan Ventura; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Though her life was far too short, she filled every day with love, laughter, and joy.

She loved trips to the water park. She never grew tired of watching her favorite movie, High School Musical.. Some of her happiest moments were spent riding her bike, playing board games, shopping with her mom or sisters, going to Bucees with her Dad to get her favorite drink and singing and dancing.

More than anything, she cherished her nieces and nephews. She adored spending time playing with them, laughing with them, and creating memories they will carry with them forever.

She will be remembered for her kind heart, playful nature, and the joy she brought to everyone who knew her. Although our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in the love she shared and the beautiful memories she leaves behind.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Thursday, July 16, 2026 at Scott Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, July 17, 2026 at Scott Funeral Home with interment to follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Alvin.
