Margaret was born on November 15, 1949 to parents Herzel Roscoe Farmer and Vivian Louise (Chuter) Farmer. Margaret died on January 15, 2024 in Webster, TX at the age of 74. Margaret was a resident of Alvin, Texas at the time of her death.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; son David James Stephenson; brothers James Lawrence Farmer and HT Brumley Jr.

Margaret is survived by her daughter Darla (Stephenson) Dewar; grandchildren Cody Dewar and Faith Dewar; siblings Roy Joe Farmer, Doris Ann Whited, Angelina Pack and Darlene Ringo (husband Marvin); Aunt Mary Ann Dewar; and her beloved dog Blackie; in addition to numerous other extended family members.

Margaret was a devout Christian who loved unconditionally. God was always first and foremost in her life and she was proud to let everyone know that. If you would give her a minute of your time, she would sing you a song she had written but would always give the credit to God by telling you it was "a song that God gave me".

She was one of the most generous people you could ever meet. Even though she did not have a lot, she would not hesitate to give to people in need.

Everywhere she went, she made people smile. She made sure to always call her friends and family to sing them "Happy Birthday" on their special day. She was an artist who loved to draw and crochet for herself and her loved ones. She was also a skilled chess player who was always ready for the challenge.

She was over the moon proud of her daughter and her grandchildren. She was always talking about their achievements and how much she loved spending time with them.

She was proud to be one of God's children and always made it known that when God was ready for her to come home, she was definitely ready. We know she is celebrating in Heaven right now.

A celebration of her life will be scheduled in the near future. Please keep her family in your prayers during this difficult time.
