Margaret "Rosemary" Dann, age 74 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022, surrounded by her family. Rosemary was born on January 27, 1948, in Morgan City, Louisiana. She grew up in Freeport and was a longtime resident of Alvin, Texas. Rosemary was preceded in death by her father William Thompson and Mother and Step-father Eleanor and Hub Jenson as well as siblings Pete Thompson and Sherry Smith. Rosemary was Baptist by faith and had a very close relationship with her Lord.

Margaret is survived by her husband of 38 years, Charles Dann who was the love of her life. She is also survived by children, Laura Lamm, Susan Richey, Judith Harris (husband Mike), Brandi Bradford, Ashton Dann (wife Stephanie), and a brother, Danny Thompson (wife Cathy).

Rosemary was a proud Nana to 11 grandkids, Joshua, Jared, Jessica, Gracie, Allison, Kennedy, Jillian, Tatum, Evan, James, Noah and 6 great grandchildren. She loved her grandchildren and was extremely proud of them and their accomplishments.

Rosemary enjoyed crocheting, playing Candy Crush and chocolate. She also enjoyed the holidays and going to visit her children that did not live close. Rosemary had a love/hate relationship with Amazon's Alexa and her cell phone that kept her children laughing both at her and with her. Rosemary also loved her two dachshunds Buddy & Betsy whom she lovingly made ramen noodles for every night. She will be missed dearly.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas.
