Marc Edward Hopkins, age 79 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021. Marc was born on February 22, 1942 in New Orleans, Louisiana and was a resident of Alvin, Texas for over 12 years. He worked for many years as a Computer Tech for Koch/Kinder Morgan, a Pasadena Volunteer Fireman with 21 years of service and loved Mardi Gras, being a member of the Krewe of Aquarius. Marc was preceded in death by his parents, Alice and Smith Hopkins, sister, Patricia Hopkins.

Marc is survived by his wife, Rita Hopkins, daughters, Beth Thornton, Lori Price and husband Randy, Jennifer Hutchison and husband J.D., sister, Judy Haenal, brother Richard Hopkins, 7 grandchildren, Matthew, Brett, Scott, Summer, Marc, Kevin, Cameron, 5 great-grandchildren, Dade, Lennox, Scarlett, Sawyer, Jameson, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held Monday, October 11, 2021 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM with Funeral Services beginning at 11:00 AM at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas.
