Lurleen Victoria Taylor, of Manvel, Texas passed away Sunday night, December 18, 2022, in Houston, Texas. She was diagnosed a month before with a rare Mitochondrial Disease called POLG – Alpers Syndrome along with Fatty Liver Disease. She passed away at the age of 11 months old, peacefully surrounded by family and loved ones.  Lurleen was born January 11, 2022, in Webster, Texas and stole many hearts along the way even though her time here was short.

There are absolutely no words that could ever fully describe our beautiful baby girl, except for the fact that she was perfect in our eyes. She was absolutely stunning with eyes that were as blue as the sky on a bright sunny day, long gorgeous eyelashes, red hair that started to turn auburn, six beautiful teeth, baby soft skin, rolls for days, thick thighs and so much beauty inside and out. She was the type of little girl that would cry when you set her down but give you the biggest smile once you picked her up. She was sassy beyond measure and had so much love to give. She enjoyed making peoples days by waving and acted like she had never met a stranger ever in her life. This little girl had one of the most mesmerizing smiles that would stretch from ear to ear. A laugh that was so contagious you would end up smiling and laughing along with her. Lurleen was one of the happiest baby's, no matter the time of day from early morning to the middle of the night. She had so much heart and grace for being so young. She loved to make high-pitched squeals every time she got overly excited about something. Some of her favorite things included anything that made noise, sang, things that would light up and her absolute favorite was being held and loved. Her brother Braxton was her favorite person, they spent countless hours cuddling, playing, sharing, creating memories, and making each other laugh uncontrollably. Lurleen Victoria was adored, admired, and loved by everyone and she was truly a blessing. To say we miss you is an understatement, our dear sweet girl, we miss you beyond measure, so tremendously so that it is quite unbearable. You are and will always be our world, our hope is that you found peace, no more pain, to always know how much joy you bring to our lives, and to always remember how loved you are gorgeous girl. Until we meet again princess may you live on in our hearts forever. Please watch over us until we are made whole and all reunited again.

Lurleen is survived by her parents Ryan Taylor and Samantha Stout; brother Braxton Taylor; grandparents Joannie Stout and Tony Henderson, grandmother Sherma Taylor; uncle Dalton Stout and his girlfriend Mariah Chlamon; along with many others that adored her.

A memorial service will be at 3:00 PM Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Scott Funeral Home.
