Louis Cruz, Jr. age 83 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023. Louis was born on March 20, 1939, in Wharton, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Annie Cruz of 62 years of marriage; parents Louis and Benita Cruz; brothers Edward Cruz, Raymond Martinez; sisters Angie Rosales and Mary Segura; granddaughter, Cristy Fuentes.

Louis is survived by his daughters Victoria Mejias and husband Juan, Eva Land and husband James, Abby Cordova and husband Greg; sons Louis Cruz III and wife Velma, David Cruz and wife Monica; sister Lupe Sanchez; brothers Michael Cruz, Pete Cruz and wife Julia; sister-in-law Sally Martinez; grandchildren Louis IV, Daniel, Annie, Joshua, Nicholas, David Jr., Joey, Greg III, Adrian and Amber; great-grandchildren Carter, Elillas, Leara and Jensen.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at Scott Funeral Home with funeral services starting at 12:00 P.M.  Interment will follow in the South Park Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
