Lois Schadler, age 95 of Pearland, Texas, passed away Monday, July 27, 2026 at the Reserve of Pearland care facility in Pearland, Texas.  Lois was born February 5, 1931 in Conroe, Texas and was a 53-year resident of Pearland. She was a member of Shady Crest Baptist Church in Pearland and worked at the Alvin Community Bookstore for over 20 years. Lois was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend and will be dearly missed by all that knew her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Benard Schadler; parents, Fred and Drusilla Sims; daughter in law, Joyce Schadler; grandson, Nathan Schadler and brother, Floyd Sims.

Lois is survived by her sons, David Schadler and Clifford Shadler; granddaughter in law, Kyna Schadler; great grandsons, Jeremiah Schadler and Oliver Schadler; brother, Harold Sims; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Pallbearers: Greg Albert, Keith Kaup, Wayne Netherland, Rob Northcutt, Steve Shuttlesworth and Jim Skipper

A visitation will be held from 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM Thursday, July 30, 2026 at Scott Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Confederate Cemetery in Alvin, Texas.
