Lois Anne LaBoyd "Nona" age 57 of Alvin, Texas passed peacefully in the presence of her loved ones on Monday, September 27, 2021. Lois was born July 1, 1964 in Birmingham Alabama and was a resident of Alvin for 36 years. She had a big heart, was full of life, and her spirit made you feel free. She loved music, walking on the beach, and going for drives. She was a loving wife and dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. She took that role very serious. She was very artistic and loved to draw and paint. She had a passion for animals her whole life and always had pets around. She was a fighter and faced her final battle with a grace and a resilience that you have to admire.

Lois is survived by her husband James Dean LaBoyd; Parents Joseph Alessi Jr Dorothy Garner Alessi; Daughters Heather Fernandez and Husband Collin, Darlene Wilson and Husband Marvin, Rita Banis and Husband David Hall, Jennifer Cook and Husband Gordon, Sons Jonathon Banis and Wife Jessica, Christopher Banis and Wife Carolyn, Eric LaBoyd and Wife Riki; Brothers Chris Alessi and Wife Tammy, Jody Alessi; Grandchildren Sarah, Taya, Trae, Myrissa, Jonathon, Paul, Wyatt, Cennleigh, Cheyenne, Elanna, Shelby, Jerry, Katrina, Steven, Keegan and Morgan, Ruby, Andrew, Michael, Nicole; Great Grandchildren Abby, Chad, Axel; Special People to be mentioned Uncle Walter Bush, Brittany Rodriguez and Kayla Fernandez

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Scott Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, October 4, 2021 at Scott Funeral Home.
