LaWanda Quintero, age 68 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023. Lawanda was born on February 2, 1955 in Alice, Texas and was a resident of Alvin for over 46 years. She worked for many years as the Peronnel Manager for Wal-Mart, store #462, in Alvin. As a loyal servant of God, LaWanda had courage, strength and faith that she would remain in His memory. Her hope in the future was at the forefront of her mind until she fell asleep in death.

LaWanda was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Kay & brother, Garland Kay. LaWanda is survived by daughters, Lisa Sullivan and husband Jeremiah, Ashley May and husband Ross, son, Josh Quintero and wife Amelia, mother, Eloise McElroy, brother, Jerry Kay and wife Norma, sister, Shirley Wood and husband Paul, 6 grandchildren, Tori, Madelyn, Ally, Avery, Kennedi, Hudson, great-grandchild, Declan, as well as numerous other friends and family.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 3, 2023 at 5:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Alvin, Texas, 701 FM 517.

LaWanda had friends all over the world, so those who are unable to physically attend her service are able to attend via Zoom.
