LaVon Annette Moore, age 72 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2026. LaVon was born August 8, 1954, in Clinton, Indiana. She had a huge heart, was known for always having a smile on her face, full of personality, laughter, and was truly a firecracker.

Some of LaVon's happiest times were spent surrounded by her family, floating the river, making memories and enjoying life with the people she loved most. LaVon is preceded in death by her parents Harold Overlin, Helen and Joseph Reil; and her sister, Natalie Overlin.

LaVon is survived by her daughters Shannon Collins, Crystal Smith, Tonya Smith, and Brandie Fuller; grandchildren BrookLynn, Blake, Austin, Tres, and Teslyn.

LaVon's laughter, sense of humor, huge heart, and fiery spirit will be deeply missed. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories that will be cherished forever by her family and all who have known her.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Details will be announced when arrangements have been finalized.
