Larry Thomas Garza, age 66, of Rosenberg, Texas, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2026. Larry was born on October 15, 1959, in Alvin, Texas.

Larry enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved playing with his nieces and nephews, riding his motorcycle, playing the guitar, and talking to everyone about Jesus. He was always available to help anyone who needed it. Larry had a kind heart and a generous spirit, and he touched the lives of many people who will remember him dearly.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Joe Garza Sr., and his brother, Carlos Garza.

Larry is survived by his wife, Carla Garza; mother, Helen Garza; daughter, Lisa Owen and husband, Shane; sisters, Sylvia Maldonado and husband, Lupe; Diana Medina; and Elizabeth Rodriguez and husband, Gilbert; brothers, Joe Garza Jr., Mike Garza, Vince Garza, Alfred Garza and wife, Yvette; James Garza and wife, Marisol; and Michael Garza and wife, Araceli; grandchildren, Vylett C. Owen, Jaidon K. Grabel, and Briahna A. DeHonney and husband, Sean; and great-grandchildren, Jaxson J. Grabel, Ayla H. DeHonney, and Sunny E. DeHonney.

Larry also leaves behind Carla’s family, who loved him dearly: her mother and father, Carol and Ron Clark; sisters, Mindi Soliz and husband, Roy; Rhonda Shuman and husband, Joey; and their nieces and nephews, who will miss him dearly.

A visitation will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026, at Scott Funeral Home from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow the service at Oak Park Cemetery.
