Harry Klintrup "Klint" Rasmussen Jr., age 83 of Alvin, Texas, was called home Tuesday, February 28, 2023. Klint was born on November 7, 1939, in Texas City, Texas and was a survivor of the Texas City Explosion of 1947. He graduated from Texas City High School where he played on the Stingaree baseball team. After high school, he attained his bachelor's degree from Sam Houston State University. He joined the United States Air Force Reserves and later built a career in the Insurance industry. Klint was an avid sports fan all of his adult life and enjoyed being part of the press box team for Alvin High School football games for many years. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and also a member of the Lions Club. Most importantly, he was a devoted brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Klint is preceded in death by his parents, Irene and Harry Rasmussen Sr.

Klint is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Pam; daughters Lauren Roland and husband Randy, Julie Bellis and husband Bill; son Ryan Rasmussen and wife Suzanne; sister Sally Etheredge and husband Lynn; brothers Jimmy Rasmussen and wife JoJo, Steve Rasmussen and wife Dianne; grandchildren Jake, Riley, Briyana, Avry, Ethan, and Kirsten.

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 11:00 AM. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Alvin, Texas.
