Kenneth Leon Bryant Sr. passed away peacefully on September 3,2024, at the age of 87. Ken was born on February 27,1937 in Dewey, Oklahoma.  He grew up in Texas but moved to Slidell Louisiana in the early 70's with his wife and five children.  They raised their children at their residence in Palm Lake, creating and sharing many memorable moments with his extended family at their lake house.  He and his family enjoyed fishing, boating, skiing, shrimping and crabbing during their time in Slidell. Ken will be remembered for his fun and witty nature and his loving devotion to his family.

Kenneth returned to his family property in Alvin Texas in the 1990's where he resided for the rest of his time with us.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Ruth Bryant, his wife Joycelyn Labiche Bryant and his son Kenneth Leon Bryant Jr. He is survived by his sister Linda Schmidt, daughter Kendall Bryant Rosbury (Randy), son Keith Bryant (Sharon), daughter Kristy Bryant Bonilla (Oscar) and son Kelly Bryant (Judy). He leaves twelve grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren.

Per his wishes, services will not be held for him in Alvin.  His family will have a celebration of life later this year when they take him to his final resting place in Gretna, Louisiana at the West Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
