Kathy Purcell, age 81 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024 at her residence.  Kathy was born October 6, 1943 in Luling, Texas and had been a resident of Alvin since 1964. She worked as an office manager for the Litton company and was a member of Sagemont Baptist Church. Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Grace Ellis.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Marshall Purcell; daughter, Sherri Enriquez and husband Richie; son, John Purcell and wife Melinda; sister, Keley Schautschick; grandchildren, Elyssa Sharp and husband Chase, Kelsey Golz and husband Sean, Christine McCabe, Samantha Enriquez; great grandchildren, Shannon McCabe, Riley McCabe and Conor McCabe; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Scott Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Harwood Cemetery in Harwood, Texas.
