Karen McAlvain Wilson, age 68 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2025 at her home. Karen was born February 7, 1956 in Houston, Texas and had been a resident of Alvin since 2022, formerly of Pearland. She worked as a receptionist for many years and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Karen is preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Alyce McAlvain; brothers, Warren McAlvain Jr. and Rusty McAlvain.

Karen is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, James Wilson Jr.; daughters, Merri Hahn and husband Richard, Alyson Clayborn and husband Jason; grandchildren, Cameron Clayborn and Kendall Clayborn; sister, Derinda Faye; sister in laws, Diane McAlvain and Debbie McAlvain; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Monday, January 13, 2025 at Scott Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Scott Funeral Home with interment to follow at Confederate Cemetery in Alvin.
