Julia Longoria Garcia, age 83 of Alvin, Texas passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021. Julia was born April 11, 1938 in Harlingen, Texas. Julia was a resident of Alvin for 15 years and was Catholic by faith. Julia is preceded in death by her parents, Rosalio Longoria and Jila Salazar Longoria, sisters, Maria L. Garcia and Refugia L. Barrera.

Julia is survived by her husband, of 65 years, Pedro Garcia; daughter, Rachel Robles and husband Richard; sons, Pete Garcia, Jr. and wife Judy, Willie Garcia and wife Sandra, Paul Garcia; sister, Alica L. Pena, brothers, Jose Longoria and wife Martha, Johnny Longoria and wife Mary; grandchildren, Jessica, Erica, Ventura, Sielo, Sol, Tristan; great grandchildren, John David Banda, Brandon Huerta, Bryce Martinez, Sophia Martinez, Emma Garland, Abby Garland, Bryan Garland, and great great grandchild, A.J.Banda, as well as numerous relatives.

Visitation will be held on January 6, 2022, from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at St. John's The Baptist Catholic Church with Funeral Services beginning at 12:00 P.M. Interment services will follow at the Confederate Cemetery, Alvin, Texas.
