Josephine Guajardo Salazar, age 72 of Iowa Colony, Texas, passed away Friday, June 23, 2023. Josephine was born on November 6, 1950, in Alvin, Texas.

Josephine, "Aunt Pean" as she was affectionately called by the family's grandchildren, was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many. She loved her family more than anything. She enjoyed doing things to make them happy and feel loved. She was kind to everyone she came across and loved by them all in return. She was a second mother to her nieces and nephews and second grandmother her great nieces and nephews as well.

Josephine is preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Lupe Guajardo; brother Sammy Guajardo; nephew Roel Saldivar Jr.

Josephine is survived by her sisters Rosie Guajardo, Rosalinda Luna and husband John, Sylvia Saldivar, Linda Knape, and Sally Guajardo; brother Saul Guajardo and wife Lori. Nieces and nephews; Samantha Stacey-Hernandez and husband Adam, Dina Estes and husband Michael, Nathan Guajardo, Julie Saldivar, Scott Guajardo, Rebecca Shipp, Amanda Munoz and husband Brandon. Great nieces and nephews; Jacob Shipp, Hunter Stacey, Natalie Shipp, Arianna Guajardo, Luke Stacey, Khloe Estes, Olivia Saldivar, Rorey Saldivar, Dylan Hernandez, Vena Munoz, Samuel Munoz and Rene F. Alvarado. She loved these children as if they were her own.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Friday, June 30, 2023, at Scott Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 30, 2023, at Scott Funeral Home with Brother Richard Arriaga from Masters Road Church Manvel officiating.
