Josephine Hough, age 70 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her family.  Josephine was born on April 5, 1952 in Teague, Texas and was a resident of Alvin, Texas for over 20 years.  She was a homemaker and Christian by faith. Josephine was preceded in death by her first husband, Virgil Eugene Hough, Jr., special friend, Bob Seton, Sr., parents, Gordon and Georgia Chavers, brother, Gordon Chavers, Jr.

Josephine is survived by her son, Garrett Hough and wife Marilyn, sister, Ruthie Parker, step-sons, Robert Seton, Alex Seton, step-daughter, Stephanie Fitting, brothers, Charley Chavers and wife Mary, William Chavers and wife Vicki, as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held on January 7, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Crossroads Church in Santa Fe, Texas, the address is 3810 FM 646 North Santa Fe Texas, 77511. Pastor Del Tolar will be officiating the services. There will be a meal following the services at the church.
