Joseph Castillo, Jr., age 60 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Thursday, February 29, 2024. Joseph was born on October 18, 1963 in Galveston, Texas and was a resident of Alvin, Texas for over 40 years. He worked for many years for NRG Light Co. Joseph was preceded in death by his brother John Castillo.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Missy, daughter, Nicole, son, Joseph Castillo and wife Teresa, parents, Josephine and Joseph Castillo, Sr., sisters, Rosie, Linda, Mary Ann, Lisa, Louisa, Stephanie, brother, Stephen, grandchildren, Yvette, Jalysa, Breanna, Viviana, Andrew, Alberto, Alexa, Mia, great-grandchild, Athena, as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Joseph "Jody" was a hard-working man, who enjoyed everyday of life. He spent a lot of time at the beach, and always loved to laugh and have a good time with family.

A visitation will be held Sunday, March 10, 2024 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held Monday, March 11, 2024 at 10:30 am at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas. Interment will follow in the Southpark cemetery in Pearland, Tx.
