Jose Salinas, age 71 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025 at his residence surrounded by his family.  Jose was born July 24, 1953 in Beeville, Texas, and had been a lifetime resident of Alvin. Jose is preceded in death by his parents Pedro and Hermelinda Salinas; mother of his children Nelda Salinas.

Jose is survived by his wife Lourdes Nena Salinas, daughters Angelica Luna and husband Michael, Rebecca Archer and husband David; son Jose A. Salinas II and wife Sarah; sisters Ofilia Rivas and husband Rafael, Ninfa Rodriguez and husband Felix; brothers Domingo Salinas and wife Blanca, and Pedro Salinas; grandchildren Mikaela, Miguel, Mila, Jude, and Ariana.

A visitation will be from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Scott Funeral Home with a service beginning at 7:00 PM.
