Jose Barrera, Jr., age 54 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Friday, September 12, 2025.  Jose was born on March 4, 1971 and was a lifetime resident of Alvin.  He was a business owner, and enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Jose is survived by his wife, Brigetta Barrera, parents, Helen Morales and Jose Barrera, Sr., daughter, Desiree Eagle and husband Robert, sons, Michael Barrera and wife Meagan, Joseph Barrera and wife Alejandra, sisters, Lupita, Jodie, Olga, Laura, Trini, brother, Lupe, grandchildren, Ximena, Corbin, Sammy, Elliot, Levi, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 30, 2025 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas with funeral services beginning at 12:00 PM.  Interment will follow in the Confederate Cemetery.
