Jonah Samuel Chaffin, age 8 of Alvin, Texas passed away December 21, 2023 at Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, Texas. Jonah was born September 2, 2015 in Uganda and moved to Alvin with his parents on December 24, 2018. He was a member of New Hope Church in Alvin and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Jonah is survived by his parents, Bryan and Laura Chaffin; brothers, Elijah and David Chaffin; grandparents, Larry and Terry Oliver, Michael and Pam Chaffin; along with his aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, January 6, 2024 at New Hope Church 221 South Gordon Alvin, Texas 77511.
