Johny "J.D" Davis, age 69 of Manvel, Texas, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022.  J.D. was born on January 1, 1953 in Wheatland, Wyoming and was a resident of Manvel, Texas for over 10 years.  He worked for many years as a Crane Operator and proudly served his country in the United States Army.  J.D. was preceded in death by his parents, Harris and Gladis Davis.

He loved family time, old western movies and bbq's with friends.  Since his retirement in 2021 he could  be found playing games on his i-pad and relaxing at the bar.

J.D. is survived by his wife, Charleen (Chuckie) Davis, children, Margie Payton and husband Nathan,  Paul Braak and wife Kelly Jo, Stephanie Holcomb and husband Lorenzo. Sisters, Karen, Kim, Kerri, and Jonna. Brothers, Don, Jerry, Randy, and Sid. Grandchildren, Kellie (Jacob), Andrew, Montanya (Ramiro), Rachael (Taylor), Nicole, Baylee,  and Christian.  Great-grandchildren, Belen, Alek and Dior as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas.
