John Rawlings, age 66 of Rosharon, Texas passed away peacefully on Friday, October 18, 2024. John was born to John and Ruth Rawlings on December 14, 1957 in Alvin Texas. He resided in the Rosharon/Iowa Colony area all his life. For many years John worked for the South Texas Water Company and finished out his career with the HISD Crossing Guard Program. Anyone who knew him would describe him as a wealth of knowledge about most things historical or related to his family. He was also an avid outdoorsman, both hunting and collecting firearms/hunting paraphernalia. In fact, collecting was his true calling including knowledge, friends and treasures.

John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruth, brother Jack, sister Sharon and son Stephen. He is survived by his son Christopher Rawlings, multiple cousins and many valued friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
