John "Tracy" Goulding, age 65 of Alvin, Texas, went to meet the Lord Tuesday, November 18, 2025 after a short but aggressive battle with lung cancer. Tracy was born February 23, 1960 in Houston, Texas, and was a resident of Alvin since 1983. Tracy enjoyed working and spending time with his family. He was hard working and exceptionally hard-headed, and the definition of an amazing father and grandfather. Whether he was working for himself welding, or raising his boys and then his grandchildren, it was his way or the highway. He was multifaceted, mostly stern with an occasional perfectly timed joke at your expense of course, and was always a shoulder to lean on should you have needed it. He loved fishing and dancing. Especially bass fishing, and loved playing slow pitch softball with his team The Outlaws. Tracy is preceded in death by his parents Billy and Helen Goulding; sister Deena Goulding; brother Billy Goulding II; and son Christopher Keith.

Tracy is survived by his wife of 46 years Sabra Goulding; sons Tray Goulding and Steven Goulding; sister Judy Garcia and her husband Pete; brother and sister in-law Kenny and Leslie Hargrove and their children John Tyrna his wife Rachel and their children Bernie and Ruby, Harrison Hargrove and Miriam Rice and her husband Tyler; grandchildren Makenzye Parsons and her husband James, Noah Goulding, and Sofia Goulding; nephew Kevin Goulding and his wife Linda and their son Dane; niece Misty Lytle and sons Hunter and Mason; niece Brandy Kinsey and husband Charley and children Alyssa and her daughter Raynee, Devin and Emily; niece Mindy Gilbert and her children Tifani, Dilan, and Colin.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Scott Funeral Home from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Scott Funeral Home. Interment to take place at Mustang Lutheran Cemetery following the services.
