Jimmy Thurman, age 81, left this world suddenly on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at his home.  Jimmy was born October 4, 1941 in Anniston, Alabama and was a resident of Rosharon Texas for the last 17 years. He graduated from Jessie H. Jones High School and from the University of Houston with an engineering degree. Jimmy owned and operated Combustion Services Company for 35 years. He is preceded in death by his son, Glenn Edward Thurman; parents, William and Hellon Thurman; brother, Tommy Thurman.

Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Charlotte Walton Thurman; daughter, Dr. Mary Marczak and husband Kenneth; daughter-in-law, Pam Thurman; brother, David Thurman Sr. and wife Roz; sister-in-law, Karen Thurman; grandchildren, Kathy LaSalle and husband David, Danny Puckett and wife Dr. Mary, Brian Puckett and wife Caitlyn, Lisa Marie Gist and husband Sean; along with numerous extended family and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 am – 10:45 am Saturday, April 15, 2023 at New Life Lutheran Church (3521 East Orange St. Pearland, Texas 77581) with a memorial service to begin at 11:00 AM.
