Jason Twilley, age 54 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024, in Webster, Texas.  Jason was born on August 7, 1970, in Alvin, Texas.  He never met a stranger and brought immeasurable joy and light into everyone's lives with his kind heart, laughter, and radiant smile, and will forever remain in our hearts.  He worked for Coca Cola for many years, enjoying the freedom and socialization of going to venues. He then switched to a power plant operator and enjoyed his team and the culture of the job.

Jason enjoyed both playing and watching sports. He played baseball for many years as a catcher with his dad as his coach, as well recreational volleyball. He golfed for years, then found freedom in sky diving. He always found new ways to enjoy life.  In his leisure time, he enjoyed spending time with his loved ones. He spent every day that he could in his backyard pool that gave him peace at home. Over the years he took many trips to his parent's ranch in Mountain Home with his daughter, tubing on the river, going to theme parks and exploring. The beach was his favorite place to be, and he took a once in a lifetime solo trip to the Bahamas where he spent days in the clear blue ocean and mingled with the locals.  Jason was everybody's friend, and wanted to help others in any way he was capable of. His pure love and light were obvious to anyone that met him. This shows in how many friends he's kept close over the decades.

He is survived by his loving parents, Jimmy and Joan Twilley; his daughter, the pride of his life, Ashley Marie Twilley; stepdaughter, Brittany Diane Bucklew; sisters, Tracy Ryan and Shelly Carroll, his brother Clint Twilley, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. As well as his cats Oliver and Blanca, and his beloved dog Lucy that he put even before himself.  Jason was a devout Baptist, and his faith in God carried him through life. He was a member of the Harbor church in Friendswood.

A memorial service will be held Friday, September 6, 2024 at 10:00 am at Scott's Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas.
