James Eugene Tuberville Jr., age 51 of Alvin, Texas, unexpectedly passed away January 8, 2025. Jim was born December 28, 1973, in Saint Louis, Missouri to James Eugene Tuberville Sr and Karen Nannette (Palmer) Tuberville.

Jim spent his early life relocating with his family until settling in Alvin, Texas in 1981. He spent his childhood with his sister Tania navigating growing up in a small town, % visiting his extended family every summer in Saint Louis, Missouri, and hanging with his best friend and brother Luke Goodrum. His proudest memory of his childhood was having the opportunity to meet and throw out the first baseball with Nolan Ryan.

As an adult Jim loved spending time with his children James Eugene Tuberville III and Luke Eugene Tuberville, listening to music, working on cars, working in the yard, spending time with his canine companions.

Jim spent 20 years installing DirectTv until starting his own business, Jim's Garage Doors, installing and repairing doors for all of Alvin and surrounding areas until the day of his passing.

Jim was a private and quiet person. He was fearless and independent. strong-willed and stubborn, but those traits defined Jim. They were part of who he was, and his strength undoubtedly helped him deal with life's challenges.

Jim is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ira Eugene Tuberville, Amy Louise and Sidney Boxer and William Richardson and Nannette Georgia Palmer; aunts Elizabeth Ann Palmer-Schnarrs and Karen Serrano, and uncles, Randy and Keith Palmer.

Jim is survived by his parents, Karen Nannette and James Eugene Tuberville Sr., step-mother Karla Tuberville, sons James Eugene Tuberville III and Luke Eugene Tuberville, sister Tania Tuberville, niece April Fraser Woody, great nephew Grant Tuberville-Merritt, and great nieces Holly and Kimberly Woody, step-sister Trisha Ford and husband Matt Ford and their children, as well as 2 aunts, 1 uncle, numerous cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Scott Funeral Home from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM. The celebration of life or Jim's party he requested will be held at his mother's house (13710 Pleasant Way, Alvin, TX 77511).
