James Randal Guidry, age 50 of Alvin, Texas passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at UTMB Clear Lake Hospital in Webster, Texas. James was born March 28, 1971 in Breaux Bridge , Louisiana where he was a longtime resident before mov i ng to Texas in 2000. He worked at CMC Construction as a n e stimator , was a member of the Alvin Volunteer Fire Department for the last 9 years and served as a duty officer for the last 4 years, and was an owner and photographer for JRG Photography.

James is preceded in death by his father, Curtis Guidr y; maternal grandmother and grandfather, Alma and Randal Laporte; and paternal grandmother and grandfather, Agatha and Claude Guidry.

James is survived by his mother , Susan Laporte Guidry; son, Derek Guidry; daughter, Kendra Guidry Cormier and husband , Trey; grandchildren, Adelyn and Avery Cormier; b r other, David Guidry, a unt, Kathy Poe ; uncle, Pat Guidry and wife, Bonnie; cousin, Robby Poe and wife, Vanessa; cousin, Candie Poe along with numerous other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Scott Funeral Home.
