James Abney, age 81 of Rosharon, Texas, passed away Monday, August 8, 2022.  James was born on December 31, 1940 in Fort Worth, Texas.  He worked for many years as a Industrial Supervisor in the Texas Dept. of Criminal Justice Dept.  James was a member of the First United Methodist Church and proudly served his country in the United States Army and Navy.  James was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Abney, parents, James and Patricia Abney.

James is survived by his brother, Tom Abney, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A burial of ashes will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Funeral in the Houston National Cemetery.
