Jack Perry passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the age of 89 at his residence in Alvin, Texas surrounded by his loving family. Jack was born on January 28, 1935, in Quemado, Texas, his parents were Maureen and Charles Perry. He was a resident of Alvin for over 30 years and was Christian by faith. At the beginning of Jacks working life, he was a barber by trade and had barber shops with his beloved brothers Billy, Wendell, and Gary Perry, and then spent many years in the construction business. Jack enjoyed traveling to Costa Rica, drinking whiskey, and restoring cars. He also loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Jack made many friends and would help anyone who needed it. You could say Jack didn't know a stranger, because everyone he met became a friend. Jack was a strong man who always had a positive attitude and outlook on life. He lived life to the fullest every day, listening and dancing to country and polka music and making all his time spent with friends and family memorable. If you ever visited Jack, you know your glass would never be empty and there wouldn't be a dull moment. Ironically Jack was a jack of many trades and used his experience as a barber and car mechanic to cut his son's hair and work on cars with his grandson, precious moments.

He was preceded in death by parents Maureen and Charles Perry, sisters Elizabeth Featherston, Sandra Guthrie, brothers Charles Perry Jr, Billy Perry, Wendell Perry, Gary Perry.

Jack is survived by his wife, Ada Perry (he called her Adita), daughters Stephanie Perry and husband Scott Baker, Marlisa Kypuros, Carolina Rojas and husband Alejandro, Regina Gutierrez, sons John Perry and wife Melanie, Jay Perry and wife Melissa, sisters Renee Logston and husband Richard, 10 grandchildren Josh, Jared, Amanda, Kaden, Fabian, Nicole, Victoria, John, Jake, Sabrina, 2 great grandchildren Cecilia Jeanette, Addilyn Reese, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
