Isidro Ramirez, age 75 of Alvin, Texas, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 16, 2021 at his residence. Isidro was born December 30, 1945 in Los Fresnos, Texas and was a longtime resident of Alvin. He was a dedicated member of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Alvin and was well know for his love of music. Isidro was a great story teller and everyone loved his laugh. He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria Ramirez; father, Santiago Ramirez; mother and stepfather, Mary and Felix Galvan; brothers, Jimmy Ramirez and Jesse Hernandez; sisters, Yalanda Harsh, Lupe Casas and Dolores Galvan.

Isidro is survived by his daughter, Yvonne Aycock and husband Seth; sons, Ysidro Ramirez Jr., Mathew Ramirez, James Ramirez and wife Lenora, Rene Ramirez and wife Crystal; step daughters, Rachel Chavez and husband Ricky, Angela Ruiz and husband Rick; step sons, Martin Ruiz and wife Cindy, Bonifacio Ruiz and wife Claudia, John Ruiz and wife Sandra; sisters, Sylvia Sierra, Fran Vaughan and husband Jesse; brother, Louis Galvan Sr. and wife Courtney; along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Scott Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M.  Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church with Interment to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Dickinson, Texas.
