Isabel Rivera, age 69 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2023, in Webster, Texas. Isabel was born on January 9, 1954 in Port Lavaca, Texas and was a lifetime resident of Alvin. She was a homemaker and Catholic by faith. Isabel is preceded in death by her father, Edmundo Garcia, Sr.

Isabel is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Mario Rivera, mother, Guadalupe Garcia, daughters, Patricia Perez, Marisela Nitschmann and husband Adrian, son, Gonzalo Alviar Jr. and wife Juanita, sisters, Ester, Lupita, Sylvia, Belinda, Olga, Tina, Irma, Paulette, brothers, Susano, Edmundo, Jr., Florencio, grandchildren, Melissa, Pedro, Jr., Leticia, Kimberly, Cassandra, Gonzalo, III., Adrian, Jr., Alexander, Anthony, along with numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5pm - 9pm Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Scott Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Thursday, April 27, 2023 at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Alvin with Interment to follow at the Confederate Cemetery in Alvin, Texas.
