Harold Richard Strege, age 85 of League City, Texas, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2024.  Harold was born March 12, 1939, in Manitowoc, Wisconsin; he lived in the states of Illinois, California, Colorado and North Carolina while working for Continental/United Airlines and had been a resident of League City for the last 22 years. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, retired with 36 years of service with Continental/United Airlines as an aircraft mechanic and attended Calvary Houston Church in Friendswood, Texas. Harold was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grand father, friend and will be dearly missed by all that knew him. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Mona Kay Martinez; parents, Raymond and Charlotte Strege; sister, Lucille Bruser; brothers, Jim Strege and Tommy Strege.

Harold is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Loree Strege; sons, David Strege and wife Cathy, Joshua Strege, Micah Strege and wife Kelly; sister, Patricia Rowell; brother, Dan Strege; grandchildren, Andrea Strege, Monica Freitas, Gina Martinez, Laura Martinez, Micaela Strege, Matthew Strege and Briana Strege; great grandchildren, Akil Johnson and Franco Freitas; along with numerous extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Calvary Houston Church ( 3700 FM 528 Friendswood, Texas 77546 ).
