Gorgonio "Bill" Barrera, Jr., age 83 of Rosharon, Texas, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2022.  Bill was born on September 24, 1938 in Mission, Texas and was a resident of Rosharon, Texas for over 15 years.  He worked for many years as Manager and Supervisor in the Grocery industry and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  He proudly served in the National Guard and Army Reserves.  Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Gorgonio and Maria Barrera.

Bill is survived by his wife, Raquel Barrera, daughter, Monica Perez and husband Eddie, son, C.J. Barrera and wife Lisa, sister, Pammy Alaniz, grandchildren, Angel and husband Tom, Nicki, Levanna, Jessica, Lindsay and husband Alex, Luke, great-grandchildren, Noah, Grace, Myla, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 12:00 P.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manvel, Texas.  Interment will be held Wednesday in Valley Memorial Cemetery in Mission, Texas at 11:00 A.M.
