Gerard Labry, age 73, of Pearland, Texas, passed away on June 26, 2026.  He was a cherished brother, devoted father, proud grandfather, and loyal friend whose presence brought comfort, laughter, and strength to those who knew him.

Born on July 5, 1952, in Galveston, Texas to Robert (RJ) and Gertrude Labry, Gerard lived a life marked by love, hard work, and quiet generosity.  Known by many as Turtle, he was a quiet, steadfast force who found joy in family gatherings, traveling, playing golf and watching sports, especially Aggie football.

He is survived by his sunshine, Debra Lusk, his children Amber Labry, Jennifer (Kenny) Ahlbaum, Andrew (Elizabeth) Labry all of Alvin, Texas and Jason (Karen) Labry of San Antonio, Texas, his grandchildren Veronica, Lillian, James, Asher, and Thomas, four sisters, three brothers, and many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert (RJ) and Gertrude Labry; granddaughter, Annabelle Labry.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin.  A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026 at 9:30 AM at Scott Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate a life that meant so much to so many who knew him.
