George B. Martinez, age 60 of Houston, Texas, formerly of Alvin, Texas, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024. George was born August 27, 1964 in Alvin, Texas. He enjoyed the outdoors fishing and playing the electric guitar as a hobby. His devoted passion for law enforcement launched a career path in attaining his certification as a private investigator and security guard. George is preceded in death by his father David C. Martinez; grandparents Francisca Ricardez Broca, Luis Beltran Hernandez, Nieves Martinez, and Maria De La Cruz Martinez.

George is survived by his mother Socorro Martinez; sister Letica Parga; and nephews James Parga, David Parga and Michael Parga; daughters Rachel Martinez and Regina Martinez and grandchildren.

A visitation will be Thursday, December 12, 2024, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM with a service starting at 7:00 PM at Braeswood Church West Campus. Another funeral service will be Friday, December 13, 2024, at Scott Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Oak Park Cemetery.
