George Edward Harvey Jr., age 64, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026, at St. Dominic Village in Houston.

Born on May 21, 1961, in Decatur, Alabama, George later made Clear Lake, Texas his home, where he spent many years. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Alabama in 1984. Following graduation, George built a long and respected career in the aerospace industry, spending more than 25 years working as a Reliability and Maintainability Engineer for various NASA contractors.

George was preceded in death by his parents, George Harvey Sr. and Jo Ann Harvey.

He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Tolbert and her husband Andy, and Allison Evans and her husband Glenn; his former wife and longtime friend, Eileen Kay; as well as many friends and extended family members.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.
