George Francis Fick Jr., age 85 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Friday, March 14, 2025 at Evening Star Personal Care Home in Alvin.  George was born October 17, 1939 in Reading, Pennsylvania and had been a resident of Iowa Colony/Manvel for over 60 years. He was a longtime member of Westside Church of Christ in Alvin and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. George worked for over 25 years for TEAM Inc. retiring as a supervisor for the company. He is preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Fick; parents, George and Mildred Fick Sr.; brother, John Fick.

George is survived by his sons, Robert Fick, Don Fick and wife Claudia; brothers, David Fick and Les Fick; grandchildren, Chenoa Priece, Tehya Talton, Andrew Fick, Justin Fick and wife Morgan; great grandchildren, Ayashe Bachman, Zion Talton and Clayton Munoz; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Thursday, March 20, 2025 at Scott Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, March 21, 2025 at Scott Funeral Home with interment to follow at Confederate Cemetery in Alvin.
