Gene Ziegler, age 88 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025 in Friendswood, Tx., surrounded by his family. Gene was born on July 4, 1937 in Arkansas City, Kansas and was a resident of Alvin, Texas for over many years. He was a maintenance engineer for Greif Bros Corp. for 36 years, a member of the First Christian Church. Gene was preceded in death by his parents, William and Neila Ziegler, brother, Jerry Ziegler.

Gene is survived by his wife, Karen Ziegler, daughter, Tracy Clark and husband Darrell, son, Clayton Ziegler, sister Judith Andreason, 3 grandchildren, Paige Clark, Dayton Ziegler, Cade Clark, 4 great-grandchildren, Aaron, Mackenzie, Jaxon, Channing, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas with memorial services beginning at 2:00 PM.
