Gary Phillip Foster, age 68 of Alvin, Texas passed away Monday, May 25, 2026 at Clear Lake Regional Hospital in Webster, Texas with his family by his side. Gary was born July 24, 1957 in Houston, Texas and was 41-year resident of Alvin. He recently retired and was enjoying his newfound leisure time. Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Bobbie Foster; brother, Tom Foster and will dearly missed by his family and friends.

Gary is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Robin Foster; beloved cats Fred and Star Wars; daughter, Ashley Nuesmeyer (Chad); son, Nicholas Hart (Hieu); brother, Dan Foster (Cindy); grandchildren, Bruce and Alice Nuesmeyer, Aethon and Aelius Hart; along with numerous extended family and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Gary's honor to the American Cancer Society or the Alvin Animal Shelter.
