Freddie Valdez, age 79 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Monday, December 30, 2024 at his residence surrounded by his family.  Freddie was born on January 11, 1945, and was a lifetime resident of Alvin.  He worked for many years and retired after 27 years at Blue Bell Creameries in Alvin.  Freddie was preceded in death by his parents, Juana and Joe Valdez, Sr.

Freddie is survived by his wife Rose Valdez of 58 years, daughter, Susan Moehle, sons, Freddie Valdez, Jr., and wife Jennifer, Randy Valdez and wife Angela, sister, Stella Barajas, brother, Joe Valdez, Jr., 9 grandchildren, Alex, Kristin, Bethany, Alana, Meaghan, Zachary, Bianca, Brooke, Bridgette, 6 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held Sunday, January 5 2024 from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM with a prayer service beginning at 6:00 PM. at Emmanuel Worship Center, 2427 FM 528, Alvin, Tx. 77511.  A funeral Service will be held Monday, January 6, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Emmanuel Worship Center with interment to follow in the City of Alvin Oak Park Cemetery.
