Eunice Theresa Henry O'Quin, 89 of Alvin, Texas; passed away Sunday, July 31, 2022, at home with her family. Eunice was born in Sulphur, Louisiana, June 18, 1933. She had been a resident of Alvin the last 10 years. During her lifetime she helped manage her father's grocery store, owned and operated a motel and café with her husband and worked as a nursing assistant and private duty nurse. This was all second only to being a loving wife and mother full time. She enjoyed bowling in her younger years, and later enjoyed painting and going to casinos.

Eunice was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Horace O'Quin, father and mother Joseph and Elizabeth Henry, sister Eva Mae Hair, and brothers Jesse and Luke (L.J) Henry. Also her constant canine companion of 14 years, Lil Angel.

Eunice is survived by her sister, Ruth Ann Phelps, son Mikeal O'Quin and wife Cheryl, son Patrick O'Quin and wife Mary, daughter Sheila Walters and husband Don, son Brian O'Quin and daughter in law Deb Robinson, and numerous children she helped raise as her own in their time of need or just because she loved all. Also left behind are 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A memorial service will be set at a later date.
