Elisha Judah Laughlin, 29 of League city, Texas; beloved husband, son, and brother to all, went to be with his Lord and Savior on 6/15/2022.

Eli was born in the small town of Llano, Texas on 6/29/1992 to Randy Laughlin and Linda Murphy Laughlin. Eli was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Laughlin-Balzarett; his grandmother, Patricia Bradshaw; grandfather, Dr. Jack Murphy; and grandmother, Zanada Boman. Eli is survived by his loving wife, Tristin Laughlin; father, Randy Laughlin; father and mother in law, Shelby and Sherry Mosley; sisters, Myranda Laughlin, Tannah Ferguson and husband John, Bonnie Armstrong and husband Thomas; brothers, Clay Heiskell, Michael Balzarett; nieces, Saranya Sapkota and Anabella Monroy; and nephews, Angel Weston Mireles, Aziel Ferguson, Calvin Armstrong, and many other cherished relatives and friends.

Eli graduated from Santa Fe High School in 2011 and was a remarkable asset to his uncle Patrick Murphy's business prior to becoming a valued employee at Trifecta Trading, LLC as a chemical operator. His dedication was highly recognized, and they were looking forward to his new opportunities within the company. Eli met the beautiful love of his life Tristin Costello in 2013, and they were married at a gorgeous ceremony on November 6 ^th , 2020 in the presence of many friends and loved ones. He was a very devoted husband and passionately loved Tristin. The special bond they shared was cherished by all that knew them. They enjoyed traveling together and had recently been to the Grand Canyon. Eli and Tristin built a beautiful life they planned on sharing forever.

Eli was known for his enthusiasm for life, his love for his Savior Jesus Christ, the love he had for his family, and his dedicated work ethic. Family and friends knew him by his love for sports, his patriotism, the fun-loving uncle he had become, his contagious laugh, and the beautiful smile he always had stretched across his face. Eli was adored by family and friends alike and brought joy to those who knew him. He was a deeply treasured friend to many, and like a brother to his cousins Brady Bynum, Molly Murphy, and Kelly Murphy Neel.  All those who had the privilege to spend time with him feel blessed to have shared in his life. The family rejoices in the knowledge that because of his faith in Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior, Eli is now in Heaven and praising God with those loved ones who have gone before him.

A visitation will be held Friday, June 24, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 25 at 10:00 AM where the family has requested everyone be dressed in white. An interment will be at Confederate Cemetery following the funeral service and a reception will follow at Dayspring Church located at 2215 FM 646, Santa Fe, Tx 77510.
