Elijah Scott Davison, age 21, of Alvin, Texas, passed unexpectedly on March 3, 2023. Elijah was born on September 28, 2001 in Webster, Texas and was a lifetime resident of Alvin, Texas.

Elijah's love of playing football in jr. high and through high school forged many lifelong relationships with friends whom he considered family. Elijah's passion for culinary and good food meant that he would often cook delicious meals for family and friends to enjoy. Elijah loved nature and the outdoors and had a soft spot for all animals big and small from an early age. Listening to music was one of Elijah's favorite pastimes and sparked his interest in obtaining a vinyl collection of varying genres which he enjoyed playing regularly.

Although Elijah was loved by so many, his big heart and gentle nature were too empathetic for the struggles of this world. Elijah will forever be remembered for giving the most amazing hugs, his infectious smile and sense of humor. His legacy will be carried on by the many lives that he filled with joy and laughter while he was here with us.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Mary and Chris McDermott of Alvin; Siblings Ericka Macias, Angel Macias, Ephram Macias, and Eden Macias; honorary mother Perla Walker and husband Daniel; honorary siblings Tatiana Gomez-Pitts and Javian Walker; grandparents Butch and Peggy Davison; his cat Terry and many other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Scott Funeral Home with a service being held at 6:00 PM. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, March 13, 2023 at Confederate Cemetery in Alvin, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that you would consider a donation to NAMI Gulf Coast (National Alliance on Mental Health) in Elijah's name.
