E.L. Harvey Selby, age 92 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023, at UTMB Clear Lake Hospital. E.L. was born February 5, 1931 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and was a resident of Alvin/Rosharon for 30 years.  He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and spent many years driving an 18-wheeler all over the country. E.L. is preceded in death by his second wife, Ketha Selby; first wife, Dorothy Selby; son, Darrell Selby; mother, Florine Selby.

E.L. is survived by his daughters, Darlene Stuart, Kay Selby and husband Neil Moorehead; grandchildren, Jennifer Daley, Melody Meyer and husband Marcus; great grandchildren, Savannah Hypes and Brooks Meyer; along with numerous extended family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Scott Funeral Home.
