Edna Romero Solomon, age 80 of Alvin, Texas passed away peacefully Thursday, June 15, 2023 at her home.  Edna was born December 15, 1942 in New Iberia, Louisiana and was a resident of Alvin for 23 years. She will be dearly missed by her family, neighbors and friends. Edna is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Solomon,  Jr.; father, Alcide Romero Sr.; mother, Clodia Touchet Romero; grandson, Cody Solomon; ten brothers and sisters, Joseph Romero,  Audrey Saunier, Emily Dugas, Laura Roselli, Amelia Trahan,  Alida Hutchinson,  Elida O'Brien, Whiley Romero,  Alcide Romero, Jr. and John Ray Romero.

Edna is survived by her children, Tina Solomon,  Anthony Solomon and Jarrod Solomon;  grandchildren, Dominick,  Vincent,  Alexandra,  Alyssa,  Hannah and Miranda; great-grandchildren, Alidia, Aiden, Autumn and Cayden; her little dog,  Dexter Boudreaux; her grandcats, Esmeralda,  Lucy,  Desi,  Stella and Scout; along with dozens of nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM Friday, August 4, 2023 at Scott Funeral Home with a Memorial Service beginning at 6:00 PM.
