Douglas Wohlliab of Alvin, Texas passed away Friday, September 24, 2021 in Webster, Texas.  Douglas was born on May 5, 1955 in San Antonio, Texas and was a resident of Alvin for 30 years.  He worked for many years at Ben Taub Hospital as a Security Gurard and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.  Douglas was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Katheryn Wohlliab, brother, David Wohlliab.

He was a huge History buff. He loved old westerns or any Historian movies, books and documentaries etc. He loved to listen to gospel music and radio stations. He was a very hard-working man. He always but others above himself. He dreamed of being a history teacher or a pastor.

He is survived by his wife, Rachel Wohllaib, daughter, Amanda Haynes and husband Sean, son, Phillip Wohllaib and wife Skyler, sister, Diann Wohllaib, 4 grandchildren, Alexander, Noah, Hallaiah, Ganon, and numerous other relatives and friends.
