Dorothy Williams, age 80 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Friday, October 16, 2026 in Webster, Texas. Dorothy was born on December 16, 1945, in Sugarland, Texas and was a resident of Alvin, Texas for over 60 years. She worked for many years as an office administration assistant at Alvin Convalescence Center and was Catholic by faith. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Lucy Abschneider.

Dorothy is survived by her husband, Robert H. Williams, daughter, Teresa O’Hair, son, Robert “Bubba” Williams and wife Amy, sister, Georgie Teer, 5 grandchildren, Kyle, Meagan, Jerun, Mya, Megan, 4 great-grandchildren, Scarlett, Jase, Bennett, Jackson, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, October 21, 2026, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas. A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 22, 2026, at10:00 AM at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas. Interment will follow at the Alvin Confederate Cemetery.
